New to the shop! This unique piece of home decor is functional as well as beautiful. This plant propagation station also functions as a bookend! Complete with an included test tube that can be removed for easy cleaning and watering.
The color is a grass green base with multicolored terrazzo chips, along with a marbled layer, and a bright royal blue layer. The terrazzo chips are upcycled, as they are the bits and pieces left over from previous pours, aka Mayhewn Studio's "no-waste" terrazzo.
Made from Jesmonite, an eco-friendly water-based acrylic resin. These pieces are sealed for moisture protection but are not meant to be submerged or saturated. Please wipe up spills immediately.

Each plant propagation station weighs close to 3 lbs, which is great for supporting heavy books!
A few notes:
+ Air bubbles form as the acrylic resin cures and these slight variations make each piece unique.
+ Each bookend will be sealed for protection with wax (as shown).
+ I've added cork to the bottom to help it stay put, and to prevent scratches on any delicate surfaces.

All items have been sealed and are moisture resistant. Please don't submerge items in water. Wipe clean with a damp cloth as needed.
Jesmonite has not been tested for food safety, but can be used for decorative tableware.
